We were well taken of by server Sora. From explanation of the dishes and ensuring our needs are catered to, I felt comfortable and at ease. While we were served by other s momentarily, I still preferred Sora as he is attentive with sincerity. We got counter seats and could enjoy the busy yet coordin...ated cooking among the chefs, and it is very inspiring to see how they are attentive to the details of their curated dishes and their professionalism. I recommend others to try this experience if ever in Kyoto. Advanced booking is a must - I am glad to realise this from the reviews (cos they were quite booked out). Thank you Wagyu Ryotei Bungo Gion for this experience. (Will share this review in other platforms as well).

We went here for our honeymoon and had an amazing time! The staff was super friendly and spoke English, which really helped. We had a 10-course Wagyu meal, and every dish was delicious. Our server, Sakura, was awesome—she explained everything so well and made the whole experience even better. It’s d...efinitely on the pricey side, but totally worth it. We’d absolutely recommend it and can’t wait to come back!

Amazing Oita Wagyu meal. Great service, kind staff and good variety. Atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable
