タベルナ チェルヴィーノ

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in Nara. Every time we come here, they do not disappoint us. Pasta is cocked perfectly, and the sauce is out of this world. The plate looks small, but the look is deceiving. By the time you can see the bottom of the plate, you are sure to be full! The res...taurant is in a tucked in location, so not many people may notice it unfortunately. I believe one of the staff speaks English, so this restaurant is tourist-friendly for sure.

we are Italian .. so our judgment is true! Taka has learned to cook in Italy and does it with passion! his dishes are delicious: spaghetti al dente and good wine ... Japanese cuisine is extraordinary but after a few weeks of traveling an Italian needs a good carbonara!

We had a wonderful evening dinner at this restaurant. It is led by a very nice and friendly couple. Both have gained experience in restaurants in Rome before “destiny” bound their ways together as they crossed in Nara. We chose from the English menu one pizza Margherita and one with ham, both were... excellent. The risotto with mushrooms was strong in taste and with perfect texture. The offering of Italian wine and beer gives an even more authentic taste. We did not choose a desert but were given each a deer cookie, the all-present symbol of Nara. All-in a wonderful experience!
