“awesome. . . very tasty”
this might have been one of my best meals in japan . . and that is having lived here twice and being a big fan of japanese food. certainly the best shabu shabu. everything from the appetizers, to beef, to sauces, and dessert was delicious.

“Shabu shabu done right”
A short distance from Marriott Nagoya. at the address stated go down 1 level and you will find this gem. Friendly service and good quality marbled beef. The beef is outstanding and the vegetables excellent. Round off the meal with a good sake and you are ensured of a happy evening. They finis...h the meal with kishimen noodles and a mochi rice cake. Reservations are a must and dinner is well priced. Enjoy

“Outstanding experience - the best in our 3 weeks!”
This restaurant was right next door to our hotel and easily reached from main station via underground passage. Thought we’d solved the language problem when we discovered their website had an English menu - alas we were informed that menu was out of season. With the help of pictures, sign language a...nd Google Translate we managed to order hot sake and a veritable banquet that was served by our delightful hostess in our private room. The BEST tempura crab and the BEST Tuna sashimi we have ever tasted. Lightly seared seafood salad, then our hostess cooked the live prawns and other shellfish on the hot rock barbeque. We ordered a small serve of marbled beef shabu shabu - just because we could, and we wanted to prolong the pleasure! The best dining experience of our entire trip. A bargain at Y20,000 for two.
