“Unagi is melting in the mouse.”
We are unagi lover and we found this restaurent from Japan Top 10 famous unagi restaurent information. We thought that it was typical tourism famous restaurent. But it turns out it is a local famous one. Restaurent was full of reservation. We asked Sheraton Miako Hotel support and have special arr...angement. Owner Fujita-San made seat for our family. OMG! It was amazing magical dining experience. Chef made magic in the kitchen and brought out amazing dishes. This restaurent is number one among I have had experienced in my entire life. If you love unagi and want to upgrade to top experience, you need to visit this restaurent. Unagi really melt in the mouth like ice cream. Soup was excellent balance. Al side dish was material fresh itself. I thank you for the owner Fujita-San and Chef-San. This restaurent made soul food for me and our family.

“A Fantastic and Authentic Lunch”
Guide for non-Japanese speakers: The restaurant is up 1 floor from street level. You need to take a ticket from the machine by the window into the kitchen. Push the 2 blue icons and you'll get one. The screen shows the queue in front of you. Popped in here while changing trains at Hamamatsu station... and had one of the best lunches of my trip. It's busy with the lunch time office crowd and serves the delicious local eel specialty, steamed then charcoal grilled with a glaze over sauce soaked rice. Friendly and accommodating, it was a very authentic experience and I can't recommend highly enough. English menu. Just use Google translate to help you get along with the other parts!

“The eel was very tasty and so tender although being charcoaled”
The restaurant is in Hotel Soriso, just steps away from South exit of Hamamatsu station. The unagi is a must eat delicacy.
