“Nice pho with good use of herbs”
Chose this place as we wanted to eat Ban Xho (Vietnamese pancake with lots of vegetables) Had to wait for a table as the place was quite busy and the service in general was a little slow! Ordered the seasonal spring rolls which were quite uninspiring and the Ban Xho was undercooked in the middle whi...ch was a great disappointment but we also ordered the fish pho and the use of herbs made this a really authentic and tasty final dish. You pay a 300 yen service charge per person and the Ban Xho doesn't come with rice paper and extra vegetables like in Vietnam (an extra 300 yen if you want that) All in all a little disappointing but would choose different things if we went again!
“Very friendly”
Ok, I almost left before ordering because I wasnt sure about the menu. I decided to take a chance, and I'm glad I did. I was brought a black iron dish with sauteed onions, thin slices of beef, and 2 eggs over easy. The waitress instructed me to mix everything together. I did and it was very tas...ty. The bread was good, and the side dish of shredded pickled vegetables was great. The waitress spoke very good English and was very helpful. Total with a cola was roughly $17
