The Kitchen Salvatore Cuomo NAGOYA

This spot is a bit difficult to find as it is up high in a complex where you must take several escalators or elevators. But, the views are amazing as you see over the entire city. They have a lunch buffet which, while small, offers a variety of Italian food which is of consistently good quality.

We picked this Italian restaurant through Tabelog (with online booking available) and the quality is beyond our expectation. As a set meal for two, it covers items from appetiser to dessert. Buffalo Milk Mozzarella and tomato salad The tomato is fresh and juicy which matches well with the cheese.... Nice start of the meal. Fresh Fish Indeed I seldom try raw food, but this fresh fish is well prepared & does not taste fishy at all. Highly recommended. Signature pizza with Mozzarella and cherry tomato The pizza is freshly served from the oven & every ingredient is matches well. The outer part is crunchy and yet soft in texture. Dessert This dessert was the highlight of this meal. We added remarks as anniversary date and the waitress served us a half cake with super nice writing and drawing! Service The overall service is excellent. Will definitely revisit again if we go visit Nagoya again in the future :)

Restaurants in JR Tower are on the pricey side as was here. Food was good and matched by the excellent views of central Nagoya.

Being a fan of Salvatore and having visited many of this chain restaurants in Japan I was really looking forward for this restaurant. Location is very good and the open kitchen concept is interesting. As in all Salvatore the staff is very friendly. The food is slightly above average Salvatore level ...(which is usually good Italian food level) and very tasty. However the pizza, what Salvatore is famous for, is disappointing. Not on the benchmark level of Hakata or Shiroganedai but still very recommendable.

I was scouting for good Italian fare when I stumbled upon this restaurant on my way down the escalator. It's hard to miss it - it adopted a see through glass classy deco. We made a late reservation and managed to get 5-7.30pm slot. I had a plate of seafood tempura to start before advancing towards b...eef pasta. I had my dinner complemented by good wine and company. Overall, it's decent food.
