“Authentic Japanese style”
Walking distance from the Castle Hotel, it place gets really busy for lunch. It is an old style Japanese house where they make fresh soba. Their tempura is very light as well.

“A gem of a find”
This was recommended by the hotel we stayed at. From the street it's very unassuming and difficult to tell what the serve ( everything is in Japanese). The building is a small wooden warehouse that has been converted to a homemade soba noodle restaurant. My husband and I both ordered hot soba noodl...es, mine with duck and his with tempura shrimp and vegetables. They were both delightful. There seems to be additional items on the menu but we didn't know how to order them. The establishment was cozy with beautiful serving dishes and bowls.
