ゑびや大食堂

The restaurant is in Okage yokocho, close to the Naiku shrine, they have english menu. Food was great and service so so, took a bit until they came to pick my order. I ordered special set with Ise Udon, sushi rice with bonito sashimi and sashimi of abalone. Everything tasty but a bit expensive.

Great restaurant. The food is delicious and the staff is amazing! You have a lot of different type of food from fish to very famous matsusaka beef which is a bit like kobe beef. If you want to have a rest after your walk at the inner shrine, I recommend you to have a meal there as you will be able... to choose among many specialities from the region of Ise. Enjoy

Attracted by the abalone skewers poster on front door. We went in and found it was almost full house at noon, with everyone eating Matsusaka beef. Ordered sukiyaki set which came with rice and udon, felt a little disappointed as our plate of Matsusaka beef was very fatty (not marbled). There was a m...ale staff who could speak English and was very helpful. A good restaurant to cool down in hot summer.
