“Very unique”
Very easy to find on Google maps, just down from the big round an about looking road. Single booth style seating, has a unique bamboo window where your food is delivered. Tasty and made to your liking-you fill in sheet before you order on the machine, chefs cook it with exact spice/garlic/opinion le...vels etc. alot of locals lined up and the wait time is on the stairwell.loved it

“Classic tonkotsu ramen”
Ichiran is the most renowned Japanese ramen chain. This Nagoya store is steps away from the railway station. Interior is quite large. The signature tonkotsu ramen is rich and tasty. The chashu is succulent. Service is fast and price relatively high by local standard.

“The usual lovely experience”
We are familiar with this ramen chain as we have tried it in Osaka and Tokyo. Buy and paid through vending machine (they accept card payment too) then Q to go to an empty seat. There are even signs which you could show the service staff (totally no conversation required) and then go ahead to customi...se the ramen to your liking! Ichiran ramen is the brand that we will always eat at least once when we are in Japan.

“Incredible Tonkotsu Ramen”
A majority of the other reviews are spot on for this famous ramen shop. I stop here at least once every trip to Nagoya I simply love this style of shop - no frills and no conversations. You are here for one thing only, some of the best tonkotsu ramen out there. I have really come to appreciate t...he ability to specify the level of doneness on the noodle and the desired richness of the broth. Pork is good and the eggs are cooked to perfection. If it is your first time, place the order at the machine and have some cash. You can order extra noodle, eggs, etc if you have extra broth - which you will. If in Nagoya, it is a must stop just a short walk from Shin Nagoya Station.

“Delicious ramen”
Ichiran is very famous restaurant in Japan..so we would like to try it. We stayed in Mercure Cypress Hotel near Nagoya station..and the restaurant was only 500 metres from our hotel. The restaurant was cute near the book store..,we ordered our ramen by machine..and we sat there one by one..like some...one who will get an exam haha.. Its ramen was delicious..my father loved it so much
