“Don't bother”
For those planning to enter with ink: Not only will the staff kick you out of the bath area, they will make sure you leave the premises like you’re a criminal. I had the pleasure of being continuous told off “in Japanese” to pretty much gtfo. There’s no logic to it, as they refuse to let me be insi...de even AFTER WEARING CLOTHES, sitting in the restaurant area. Furthermore they refuse to give me my money back!! Just go to a regular onsen for under 1000 yen, and save the trouble dealing with untrained staff. Expect no respect as a human being at this point. 0/10.
