“Seasonal and delectable!”
We stumbled upon this place on the way back to our apartment hotel. It was just what hubby was looking to do. I was a little taken aback by the fixed price but it was a once in a lifetime thing so we went for it. So glad we did. Every single offering was expertly made, beautifully placed and absolut...ely delicious. Service was nice. We were sat in a large room with a nice garden view. The two other parties were almost done so we ended up with the whole place to ourselves. There were other rooms serving patrons as well. You will remove your shoes at the door and be led into a room with sliding shoji. When your meal is ready, kimono clad waitresses set it up in so formal a manner. A great experience. Highly recommended.

“Wonderful setting, wonderful service, wonderful food!”
We booked this restaurant with the help of a Japanese friend, as the website was only in Japanese. This already gave us good vibes that we could experience something authentic. Did we ever! It's on the upscale side, but definitely affordable, especially for lunch. The private room where we had our ...lunch was exquisite, as was the service. We had a shabu-shabu lunch menu, and the meat was the best shabu-shabu type we've ever had in Japan -- marbled to perfection, tasty to boot. It's very close by the XXI Century Museum, so convenient location on top of everything else. Much recommended!
