“Love it”
Located just off the main road from the station, on the left, just before Lovela2 shopping centre. A small, but quality selection of ramen dishes, served quickly and absolutely delicious!

“Wow! It would be hard to go anywhere else after this.”
I was so happy I walked all the way to this place, which is not too far from the station, but in winter... Anyway, I was annoyed upon arrival, as the dishes come with half an egg only. I find this off-putting, but I faced my discomfort and went for the Seafood Tonkotsu Shoyu". I am told these cloudy... "shoyu" ramens are a typical Niigata thing. The tonkotsu give it body and depth, and the fish (no shrimps) give it a complexity that one does not find in a traditional tonkotsu. Absolutely gorgeous!!! The noodle is golden, curly and al-dente, properly cooked and the charsiu is excellent, tasty, although I would prefer it a tad softer. The egg (half egg) is just right, not too sweet and beautifully boiled with a creamy centre. In the end it was all so good that I did not mind the half egg. The place is super clean, nice service, and they have an English menu. And this was all for 680 yen. I know my ramen. I have had it all over Japan. And this is damn good and great value!
