“Tasty lunchtime meal. Good value”
Excellent food. Sashimi was terrific both light and fatty tuna. Best flavours. Eel was well cooked and Wagyu meat as you expect. Fast service good atmosphere. Lunch meal for 2 and very reasonable prices as you would expect.

“perfect dinner”
I'm trying their sushi, sashimi, fish soup and local grilled fish and fried tofu with natto inside. every dish is delicious! I would recommend to anyone who want to try sake or Niigata food just go here and experience the nice atmosphere of izakaya.

“More Than Just Sake”
From the atypically high ceilings and elegant, oversized wooden tables, we were anticipating a marvelous meal. Despite the openness of the restaurant, there was an aura of intimacy. The food was excellent. We sampled the roast beef and seafood donburi. An added bonus are sakes which are not availab...le upstairs in the Sake Museum Ponshu-kan. The entrance is a little hard to find if you are coming from upstairs but persevere as there is a sliding door. The entrance is much more obvious from the ground floor.
