“Great find with a touch of adventure.”
Small 12 cover max Michelin * restaurant with just a chef and presumably his partner. No fixed menu but the food was exquisite, both in flavours and presentation. Local ingredients are pointed out as each dish is described. We had 9 courses in total including amuse bouche and petit-fours. No exp...resso coffee machine. Substantial wine list but starting at around Y10,000 plus 10% service. We had a brilliant US chardonnay at Y12,000, good value considering the restaurant. Not far from Kanazawa main station.

“GO! Go now! Delicious!!!”
I love tasting menus….and this one did not let me down. The owner and a Sous chef prepared everything to order, which you can see through the open area to the kitchen. It’s a small place, seating only 12, but the tables are spaced apart. The owner was kind enough to put the description of the ...food in his translator app. The food is BEAUTIFULLY presented and tastes incredibly delicious. I was stuff by the end, but still couldn’t stop thinking g about it.

“Hidden Gem”
The restaurant itself is plain, nothing fancy. But the meal was superb. Prepared and served by the chef/owner, it was all delicious. One memorable highlight was firefly squid (google it). Don't miss it!
