“Best meal in Japan!”
My Family and I had the best experience both the food, atmosphere and staff. You enter via a code which was very cool and the staff then explained the menu, food and sake in detail in English to allow for easy ordering and the best ways to enjoy the meal. The staff was so delicate when explaining an...d setting up our meal their service was top notch! The experience was amazing and would 100% recommend and go back!

“Disappointing”
We expected top food but were disappointed. The self mixed chirashi is the main course. It is ok but not more than just a chirachi. Some vegetables were pre-cut ( based on avocado colour). Very small amount extra charge for most ingredients. The need to reserve and all the fuss raised expectation...s. The outcome disappointing.

“A sensational, unique experience”
Unique experience, menu has plenty of variety, terrific flavours and textures. A series of different seafood / meat to choose from - 5 to 7 separate serves with condiments and rice. Menu is simply explained by the superb Tile team who are awesome. A must if you’re in Kanazawa.

“First review because it was so lame”
I never leave reviews, but this experience was ridiculous. They set down some pieces of beef on the lid, but don’t replaced it on the box so I have to do that myself without spilling the sake. Then they bring the rice and seafood, and I add it together and the whole experience is over within five to... ten minutes. Then there’s a bite of ice cream and it’s over. The door to the restaurant is like a hobbit door so you have to stoop to enter. They say it’s because it’s like a teahouse, but this is not a teahouse. I got no tea. Build a normal door. I’ve been all over the world, and even in Tokyo there were some great restaurants. But his was insanely disappointing.

“Great food in a fine modern atmosphere. Tatami seating but they will give you a chair or stool at your request.”
It was likely the best sashimi dining experience that I have had in Japan or anywhere. Our first trip to this great country, so most experience has been had in NYC, DC, Phila, & London. Still, we are already 2 weeks so far in Japan. Super fresh cubed clean seafood set into a spiced large poke bowl.... Enjoyed the red vinegar rice. The only criticism that I might give is the linear seating which, in a party of seven, made conversation either impossible or abnormally loud. Just go and enjoy it. Parking right nearby.
