I felt like a burger one afternoon and stumbled across this place. Kochi is a nice little city and fun to wander around. There are loads of interesting eateries in the nightlife district. I ordered the Ryoma Burger with fries and a coke, and I think it came to about 1400 yen. I’d recommend sitting ...up on a the second floor, where you get a good view of the comings and goings in the arcade below. A good spot to rest for a while. The burger was good. Quite big but nothing spectacular.

I've been in Japan over a year, so once in a while I crave a good burger. I was walking around Kochi and saw their sign outside and decided to stop in. Honestly, I wasn't in the mood for drinks, I just wanted a good burger. The restaurant itself was pretty cool, younger crowd, but I liked the vibe. ...I ordered the Ryoma Burger I believe and it came loaded with so many toppings it was actually quite delicious although the burger patty itself was tiny, lost within all the veggies. What's a burger without fries, I ordered fries separately, they were decent. When I ordered everything, I was told I had to buy a drink as well. Come on, I just ordered food, I could see if I was just in there not eating anything but making me buy an expensive drink to go along with the burger and fries was not cool. I liked their burgers and other food options, but not happy about getting nickel and dimed here, I probably wouldn't come back.

I liked their special burger with bonito flakes and aubergine. It is dificult to handle, but juicy and the sauce is very tasty. Buy I was surprised, that in contrast to all places I've been in Japan they don't supply free cold water. It is the first time I was charged for a glass of tap water with i...ce and the price was 400, which is half of burger price! I think it's crazy and wouldn't suport thus politics by going there again. The place itself is small, very cosy and close to the center. Friendly personal, who quickly reacts on the need of customers.

What a pleasant surprise, after all the miso, noodles, sushi and sashimi, a real burger! Pity they are only open in the afternoon for food, or I would have had another before I left Kochi. The burgers come with all the options you could think of, avo, cheese or egg to name just a few. They also h...ave the thickest slice of tomato I have ever seen on a burger. As expected they are difficult to bite into because they are so thick, but do not let this put you off. The atmosphere was also nice and relaxed and the surroundings, opening onto the park area, was pleasant.

I was told this was a very popular place. It is pretty small, a few tables downstairs and a little area upstairs with a few more tables. The burgers were okay, nothing really special. Service was good, upstairs you have to ring a bell but they quickly run up from the bar.
