グリル プランチャ（Grill Plancha）

We decided to come here after reading some good review. The fact was only 10 min walk from the hotel make it even better. The restaurant entrance is a bit hidden, at the side of the arcade and to make it even more difficult to locate is at the second floor The restaurant itself is very small, we cou...nted 10 seats at the Teppanyaki and 2 other table that seats 4 people max. There is a blackboard with all the option and selection, sadly is only in japanese (but i understand that is a place mostly for locals) they also have a menu in english and they try to help you and explain you whatever you ask (the chef speak very little english, one of the waiter did and took our order without any problem and also able to explain us the dishes; we also had google translate but we never used it except to congratulate with the chef at the end. We had a mixed appetiser that was slightly changed because of the food allergy of my partner, it was not too bad but not exceptional. We ordered some Wagyu beef that was to die for, but before that we saw the chef prepare some soba noodle, so we wanted to try. The Wagyu beef was really tender and tasty and the right amount to enjoy it. At the end again we saw him prepare some french toast so we wanted it too. topped with some ice cream. We were seated at the teppanyaki table so the meal was cooked and prepared in front of us with great finesse and artistry by the chef. Is not a cheap place but the quality of the food is superb and the service very good.

We highly recommend this restaurant!! Very good quality in all plates. The most famous course is the 5000yen one because you can try different tastes in valuable price. The menu starts with truffle omelet,then you eat delicious white fish teppanyaki.Later you continue with salad and comes the meat p...late(great hamburger,chicken and shabu shabu meat ) After you can taste one of the most amazing miso soup you can find and choose from 2 different kinds of rice(garlic or curry) We can never manage to finish the last plate!! We have been living in Japan for 3 years and we know that this restaurant is a secret place for the locals. The only negative is that it is very tiny but this is the magic of Japan. Enjoy the Japanese teppanyaki experience in the highest level. There is also English menu available!

Visited this place in November 2015. It is a very small restaurant, so reservations are a good idea. I did not have a reservation, but they were able to seat me (solo diner) at the grill counter, where I could observe the chef preparing my meal. Fantastic, tender Wagyu beef, perfectly grilled medium... rare. Not cheap, but good value for the reasonable price. Recommended.
