My girlfriend and I spent a lovely 2 hours enjoying some of the finest, most delicious and well crafted sushi. We went for the chef special selection course (10000 yen), which consisted of dishes carefully chosen by the head chef. I have been eating sushi for more than 20 years and this one is by fa...r the best! I actually felt emotional during the dining experience. The flavours were very exciting and stimulated all the taste buds. What a night! It surpassed all of my expectations and I will recommend it to everyone I know. The service was also incredible, with the head chef monitoring the cooking standard all night. P.S. Some ingredients might be considered exotic by Europeans, but all of them were delicious and memorable.

We were referred to this restaurant by the hotel. Not the first choice as the other restaurant was full and this was the second choice. Turn out to be a nice environment with limited English spoken by the Chef next generation son and assistant Chef. There is English menu and set kaiseki menu start...s from 5000y to 10,000y. But we were here to have sushi and opted for the ala carte choice. We started with assorted sashimi and the Chef recommended us some cooked items like the sea bream head braised in sweet soya sauce (very good), and the fish in grilled in miso sauce (good). We then continue with sushi, the rice was not as vinegar as those you find in Tokyo. But the best sushi was the unagi, Ika, Taikimo (sea bream with fish liver) and tuna in marinated soya sauce. Some of the items on the menu were not available for the day. Overall we found the place worthy of a visit if you want to deviate from the chain sushi but with a higher budget.

We found it thru Fodor, no english on door, showed people the address. They could not have been nicer to Americans. Sat at the counter and the owners don tried to teach us the proper way to eat the sushi. Fresh, amazing quality....savor every bite!
