I had a business trip to Sendai and my main aim was to try gyutan (beef tongue). It was obvious that quality of beef is different from each other. Out of 3 restaurants I’ve visited, Date no Gyutan. Meats were tender and less chewy comparing other restaurants. It’s always having Gyutan together ...with tororo is the best.
