“The strangest dining experience in Japan”
The strangest dining experience in Japan for us in the last 20 years. Ordered a bottle of white burgundy at 22000yen. Staff poured me two glasses of screw cap white and never showed me the bottle. After they apparently struggled to explain why this happened, I refused the 2 glasses of wine and... asked for some tea (ended up finding a small cup of iced tea costed 500yen). Food was just very ordinary, and the chef didn’t seem qualified for a course costing close to 20000 yen per person. Please see how the chef served the wagyu steak to us in home cooking style.
