“Yakiniku Done Right with the Right Tongue and Ribs”
My husband and I watched several travel vlogger videos about Sendai, and we discovered two popular local food specialties that were considered essential to try. One was edamame mochi which we found elsewhere quite easily. The other was grilled beef tongue which it turned out was quite elusive to fin...d. It appeared the restaurants serving it were fully booked. We must've tried going to five different places before finally coming upon this restaurant up on the third floor of a business building. At first, it felt like we were going to be turned away, but they actually found us a semi-private table separated by a thin curtain from a gregarious family. We were so famished we were indifferent to the noise and just went ahead and ordered. Of course we had the ¥2,600 Tongue which consisted of six thick slices of salted top tongue. We grilled it on the yakiniku table grill, and the result was surprisingly tender with only a slight chewiness. We also went for the ¥1,850 Salted Short Ribs, four hearty slices accompanied by a trio of dipping sauces. We liked the ribs so much we went for a second order. However, we weren't solely carnivorous as we also added ¥800 Mushrooms and ¥500 Grilled Onions to the grill, and both provided a tasty complement to the meat. We also had the ¥850 Homemade Kimchi Platter which provided small portions of four different kinds with varying levels of spiciness. Our young server was ebullient and always looking to be helpful. Glad that fate and luck brought us here. FOOD - 5 stars...top quality tongue and ribs dominates all AMBIANCE - 4 stars...fairly private though a bit loud SERVICE - 5 stars...very attentive and very friendly TOTAL - 5 stars...yakiniku done right with the right tongue

“Enjoyable evening”
The staff was very welcoming. They answered all of our questions about how the menu worked. The food was delicious, especially the guytan. A great place to visit while in Sendai

“Good food, Good service, overall very good”
Only slight problem, the innards we didn't know how to cook, we asked for help and it turned out a tiny bit burnt, but it was still good through. Other than that everything was impeccable.

Really great service and wonderful food with unique dishes and tasty wagyu! Loved coming here and will gladly come back!
