It’s a little hard to find but it’s totally worth the search! I have never eaten more fine vegan dining than this! 10/10 My wife and I would visit again.

Every dish we ordered was very good. One of our best restaurant during our trip to Japan. We been lucky to have a table with a view of Hiroshima, not toward the city center but still very pleasant. We would come back next time we come to Hiroshima

This is a long-established group with branches in several Japanese cities, specialising in tofu dishes - not commonly seen at Japanese restaurants overseas. The Hiroshima branch is located at the top of the Yale Yale department store building near Hiroshima Station. Tofu cuisine isn't to everyone's ...liking, and we were the only non-Japanese guests. A course of about a dozen dishes takes up to 2 hours, with only a few non-soy dishes (e.g. wagyu or fish, crab shumai). It's delicious, healthy, and very refined, but not varied enough in terms of tastes or textures; the Chinese have more diversity (like deep fried, mapo, steamed, stewed, etc). The very friendly, traditionally-dressed waitresses (like everywhere in Japan) only understand Japanese, so non-speakers need to point to photos and use Google Translate.
