Oh this was a delightful find, 23 of 3655 restaurants in Hiroshima. I would highly recommend we had a range of foods fresh oysters, fried oysters, chicken, pork with leeks. It was all freshly cooked in front of you by 2 chefs. You need to take off your shoes and it all adds to the atmosphere - coo...l music plays and its such a relaxed atmosphere with the most amazing foods, which is not at all expensive. I will never forget this place.

A really welcoming place with great food and atmosphere. Has an English menu. We sat at the counter and ordered about six dishes with beer. Very reasonably priced. Baked oysters and white onion dumplings were highlights for me.

We had an absolutely tremendous dinner here. The waiting staff don't speak much English, but they do have an English menu and are wonderfully enthusiastic. The food we had was some of the best Japanese cuisine we've eaten - the oysters, shasimi, raw beef, dumplings and yakaturi were all first rate.... What's also terrific is that this is the anthesis of a tourist restaurant. It's for locals, yet as a visitor you're accepted. Opt for one of the booths alongisde the bar if you can, as the seats have backs to them. Sitting at the bar - which most people do - is fun but less intimate and less comfortable. But if you're in Hiroshima, this is the place to go.

Wonderful food and so friendly. Good price too. So glad we booked this place. A real hidden gem as we wouldn’t have found it without trip advisor.

We were sitting at the bar. The dishes were excellent and very reasonable price. Also the sake was nice. Overall a very pleasant evening at a very reasonable cost…
