“Delicious Oyster Okonomiyaki”
We found this place quite hard to find and at first actually ended up in the wrong restaurant entirely. It was worth persevering. Best Okonomiyaki ever! I had the version with oysters and it was simply delicious. Very friendly service plus an English menu. This place is popular with locals. We loved... it so much we went back for another meal as I had to eat the oyster okonomiyaki again! Lovely welcoming staff - both the waiting staff (hello to the waitress) and the chef. Great value. Recommended.

“Delicious food in a cozy atmosphere”
A cute and comfortable restaurant nearby Okayama station, reachable easy by foot. The staff spoke very good English and made us felt very welcome. The Menu is available in English and we were also explained how to use the equipment. The Okonomiyaki were absolutely delicious. Very cool was the Variet...y of local beer offered like a ginger beer. I would warmly reccomend this restsurant for a local experience and very delicious food.

English menu is available at the restaurant. Great service and love the food! I had the oyster, as recommended by reviewers and the pork and kimchi pancake. I also had the bonbon whiskey with lime soda to go with it! All together for 2,660 yen. The ppl there are also extremely polite and friendly.

“Oysters in a savory thick pancake”
We love (cooked) oysters, so walked here easily from our hotel near the station. Clues: it is on the main street, has 5 small lanterns out front and locals know it as Mori, the chef's name. Although there's no English sign, the phone number is visible on the awning, so you can recognize that. It'...s a little place, just 3 tables western style plus more Japanese low tables. If oysters (kaki) are in season (fall and winter), order the kaki-oko from the smiling waitress, who will also bring an English menu. You can watch Mori cook it at his grill. We had our hotel call ahead to make sure they had the oysters. We paid 980 yen each for kakioko, plus 550 for 1 beer. When we left, Mori followed us out to take photos of us with our camera. A very friendly place!
