“Great sashimi and restaurant close to Okayama Station.”
We had two excellent sashimi dishes accompanied by two side dishes of rice, pickled vegetables, and salt cured small fish. The smaller 3 samples was perfect for Diane and the larger 5 samples was definitely enough for my larger appetite. The service was very good and friendly. The server had en...ough English to make up for our lack of Japanese and we made occasional use of Google translate. The restaurant is divided into several rooms creating a very comfortable intimate space for dinner. In our room there was only an extended family of 7 and ourselves. The proprietor was accommodating of a last minute reservation and was gracious in greeting and sending us off. We would happily return on a visit to Okayama.

“One of the best meals in Japan.”
Absolutely well done food. We sampled about 8 different items on the menu. kitchen hot every dish off the park. Reservation is a good idea. Staff is attentive. English menu available. Highly recommend it.

“Nice restaurant”
The Food was excellent. And the service is excellent too. A lot of local food to pick. The famous Beef and fish that all come from Okayama locality. It a nice place to have lunch or dinner when you are in the area. Nice simple Japanese and English menu and with a lot of picture. Very easy to order.

“A treat!”
As soon as you push the sliding door you plunge in a Japanese house with some tables on tatami and a long counter facing the cooking area. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the waitresses kind and unobtrusive. They speak an acceptable English and the menu is in English too. They have half portions, i...deal for whom travels alone but also for couples; it gives you the opportunity to try more things. I took Akari salad, 5 sashimi and pork shabu shabu. It was all wonderfully presented and delicious. The service is fast as usual in Japan. The price not cheap but reasonable. Credit cards accepted. A place to reccomend.

“A hidden find! ”
One of my favorite meals in Japan, we chanced upon this restaurant randomly and it exceeded our expectations. The ingredients used were so fresh, the beef was so tender, it was such an unforgettable meal which was reasonably priced. Highly recommended !
