We returned to this place in November 2016. Alas, no more fried oysters! And the helpful English-speaking manager was nowhere to be found. But some of the waitstaff were quite helpful so we were still able to have a couple of good meals here. The yakitori and grilled chicken meatballs are very good.... There are a few large salads on the menu--those were good too. And don't miss the perfectly fried potatoes.and the fried burdock root.

This was a great choice for dinner, the alternative was a national chain, the service was exceptional, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. I enjoyed everything about this restaurant. It specialises in chicken but all the dishes we ordered were delicious, I found the atmosphere w...as really party like as it was quite lively and we could here a large crowd in the back celebrating.

This restaurant is close to Onomichi Station and the shopping arcade; its specialty is yakitori and chicken, although there are also fried oysters and other items. The fried potatoes are to die for. Tossed salads are generous--we tried the one with tiny fish--chirimen. Service is friendly--the manag...er (could be the owner) speaks English and there is a photo menu. We'd go there again the next time we're in Onomichi. Seating can be at the counter or in booths.
