What a brilliant restaurant with the most delicious okonomiyaki and super friendly owners, who were more than happy to answer all our questions whilst cooking. Other reviews led us here and I’d happily add to the recommendations

What a wonderful dinner! First time eating Okonomiyaki in Hiroshima for our family. We had struggled to come up with a dinner idea that would satisfy all preferences (including pescatarian) and we hit the jackpot with Lopez! The owners were friendly, spoke English when we needed their help and made ...some delicious food right in front of us. We went around 5:30 and by 6:15 there were 6 people (all locals, which is a good sign) waiting outside. It was a 30 minute walk from our hotel but we saw Hiroshima Castle on the way so it was a true Hiroshima experience. Great food, great fun. Would definitely recommend.

This is an amazing local experience for Hiroshima (very different from what we had in Kyoto) style okonomiyaki. The chef makes it in front of you in a small 17 table bench style restaurant (see photos). No reservations. We went with a family of 8 and waited about 15 minutes to get a seat for all. ...A must local okonomiyaki experience when visiting Hiroshima. Open 1630 to 2200. Closed Saturday and Sunday.

Absolutely wonderful night. Owner very knowledgeable even though he's not Japanese. Very friendly staff, Helped out when I lost my purse. Would recommend it to everyone

Great spot with super friendly service and delicious Okonomiyaki! Whether you want to stick with the classic or spice it up with some Jalapeños, Chef López and his wife will cook it up well and with a smile. Highly recommend!!
