I definitely had to leave a review after dinner tonight— my husband and I had a great omakase experience! Food was meticulously prepared and flavors were delicious & the service and atmosphere was so inviting and comfortable. We were a little nervous when we first arrived because we had never done o...makase in Japan before. Not to worry! We felt so welcome and the omakase was English-friendly, which was nice to understand the background of each sushi dish. I highly recommend this omakase experience!

This was by far the loveliest dining experience we had in japan. Do not let the lack of English reviews dissuade you - the food is spectacular. If you are similar to us and prefer the reassurance of positive reviews before committing to a restaurant, the name of this restaurant is “吉鮨” and there a...re plenty of reviews under this name if you copy and post the characters into google. The chef goes to great lengths to try and communicate with non-Japanese speaking guests. He provides a guide describing that day’s courses. And speaking of the courses, the food is beyond delicious. The hot dishes are made right in front of you and it is mesmerizing to watch the chef at work. The sushi is perfection and everything is elevated by the warmth of the husband and wife duo who run this establishment. This was our last meal in japan and we could not have asked for a better way to end a wonderful trip.
