“Must visit in Nikko”
We had a great meal here. Cosy tasteful set up and excellent service. The owners were really nice and clearly take pride in their business. I ate the pork cutlet set with balsamic cointreau sauce. If you have visited Japan before, you've probably eaten a thousand pork cutlet sets. Have been travel...ling here for years and this is the best one I have ever had. Highly recommended and the chef's special sauce was absolutely delicious. A must visit if you are in the area!

“Perfect after hitting the falls”
After you finish or before you go to the Waterfall just 250m away this is the only restaurant you should consider. Friendly staff of course but their food is exceptional even though they only have 4 kinds of lunch choices. Fish is great but so is the pork and tempura.

“Highly Recommend”
Free parking next to restaurant. It's at the main strip with shops and restaurants. This place whips up delicious local delights. Tofu set meals, Tonkatsu, Grilled fish etc. We had these all and enjoyed them all. Friendly service with a smile.

“Good and reasonable food”
We had a delicious lunch here after visiting the lake and on to Kegon Falls. We ordered the lunch set that came with Grilled fish, Yuba and Tempura. It was so good. Also the pork tonkatsu was so tender and tasty. Best part is the price-very reasonable!

“Good food along the main street in Chuzenji Onsen”
Highly recommended Tonkatsu pork - crispy batter - juicy and slightly pink, melt-in-the-mouth pork! Exceptional. Grilled local fish - salt grilled - sweet and tender meat Bean curd skin (Yuba) set - local specialty - a bit bland, better with the sauce A mix of locals enjoying their lunch (with l...ots of beer) and tourists
