“Wonderful first timer Shabu-shabu for the fam”
Perfect first shabu-shabu experience for our family of four! We came as a family (two adults, two kids) while visiting Tokyo and had no idea how it all worked, but our server Miu took us through everything step by step. She showed us how to cook the meat and vegetables and how to use the different b...roths, and she was friendly and patient the whole way through. We'd really recommend getting two broths: the shabu-shabu broth and the sukiyaki broth. The sukiyaki was especially good. We did the pork and beef course, and the meat was great. There's a big self-serve bar with lots of vegetables to add to the pot, and udon noodles near the end soaked up all the flavour from the broth, which was a great way to finish. There's even ice cream for dessert! We skipped the drink package and just ordered a couple of types of hot sake and white wine, which the adults enjoyed, and our son had the all-you-can-drink soft drinks. Highly recommend this for any family visiting Tokyo who wants to try shabu-shabu. Thank you, Miu, and the team! 5 stars.
