“Must Visit Sushi Spot in Toyosu”
We found this amazing, authentic sushi spot hidden on the 2nd floor of the Toyosu Senkyaku Banrai building. On a Saturday night around 8 pm, we waited about 15 minutes to be seated. The menu was easy to read, with pictures and descriptions in English. I'm not sure if they take reservations, so pla...n for a possible wait. I ordered the Maguro Mix, which came with 8 pieces of nigiri (fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, lean tuna, and seared fatty tuna) plus a tuna roll. Everything tasted fresh. The service was great, which makes this place a must-visit, and it was a perfect dinner after visiting TeamLab Planets. For two people, the total came to 11,000 yen (about $69 USD).

“Poor quality, sinewy fish”
This was the most disappointing sushiya I visited at Toyosu. Far cry from Daiwa etc. A lot of fish pieces were sinewy or tough - the fatty tuna was just inedible, just tough sinews (and there is nothing better than a good piece of fatty tuna). Frankly, I thought Itsu in London was better than this....

“Fresh and delicious ”
Super fresh omasake. Might be expensive for a local sushi shop near the Toyosu Market. Delicious and pro skills. Great sushi and miso soup.
