“Great restaurant for Kobe Beef!!”
We happened to stumble onto this restaurant while trying to find another restaurant that specializes in Wagu Beef. I'm so glad we found this place! We took the elevator up to where it was located and were greeted by all the staff as we were taken to our private room! The rooms are comfortable for 4 ...people and then they walk you through all the choices and then when you are ready to order, you press a button. The dining experience was one of the best we've ever had! Food was amazing! I got the Kobe Beef which was 3 small cuts of beef that you cook on the grill at the table. The pieces just melted in my mouth. One of the best steaks I've ever had! If you are in the Shibuya area, go to this restaurant if you like beef! You will not be disappointed!

“A Hidden Gem for Yakiniku Lovers in Shibuya!”
As a traveler exploring Tokyo, I stumbled upon Han no Daidokoro Bettei in the heart of Shibuya—and what an incredible find! Tucked away near the hustle and bustle of Dogenzaka, this restaurant offers a more refined and intimate yakiniku experience compared to the usual touristy spots. From the mome...nt I walked in, the atmosphere felt cozy yet upscale. The staff were welcoming and even made the effort to explain the menu in simple English, which was super helpful. I ordered the premium wagyu set and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The marbling of the meat was out of this world—each bite just melted in my mouth. What really stood out was the quality and presentation. Everything was fresh, beautifully arranged, and cooked right at the table with care. I also appreciated the small touches, like the dipping sauces and side dishes that perfectly complemented the grilled meat. It’s not the cheapest place, but totally worth it for a special night out. I’d recommend Han no Daidokoro Bettei to anyone visiting Tokyo who wants a top-notch yakiniku experience away from the crowds. Definitely going back next time I’m in Japan!

“Best wagyu!”
This was definitely the best wagyu we had in our Japan trip. They have different menu options from 5.000 up to 20.000 yen. If you have the chance, I would totally recommend to give a try. We arrived without reservation after visiting the Shibuya Crossing, and we only had to wait about 10 minutes.

“Great first wagyu experience!”
Awesome! First Japan wagyu experience and would highly recommend. Service was decent, beer is good, and beef was amazing.

“It wasn't bad, it wasn't good.”
We had a pretty nice time here. I was torn between three and four stars. They seem very welcoming to tourists and have an English menu. We got the 20-piece A5 set, which looked amazing and was great for photos. However, the meat wasn't exceptional. I've had A5 a few times before in the states and in... Japan and it's always been much better. I'm not sure if there were a couple cuts of A5 included in the course, or if there were none, but it definitely didn't include much A5, and my guess would be none. Some of the meat was tough and impossible to chew. Most of it was pretty tasty, but none of it was as good as our other meals in Japan. The service was nice, though it had a similar feel to some chain restaurants in the US where most of the staff were quite young and just not very invested. The price felt ok to me but didn't feel like a great value. There are just way better options within a few blocks that are more traditional, higher quality, and in the same price range, so I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're looking specifically for somewhere easy to book online that caters to tourists.
