“Memorable place, great food”
This was our last stop before leaving Tokyo and it was such a perfect way to end out trip to Japan. A beautiful setting and delicious food.

“Lunch”
We came across Bityuya Chouzaemon accdently while walking in one of the laneways of Shibuya, the restaurant is fairly dark inside with a set lunch menu the food was good and very reasonablely priced washed down with the obligatory Asahi beer made for a very pleasant lunch

“Disappointed and rude”
Came here with a group of 5, walked in and was told by the hostess that last call was in 40 minutes, we said that was fine and then got seated. Booth was tiny, felt very cramped, tried to order quickly so we wouldn't be too much of a bother but the staff seemed annoyed. Noticed that we didn't have... Alot of options for my group to pick from so at decided to just order skewers. A man had came to our take to take our order and when we told him we wanted just skewers he said everyone in our group had to order a drink. The only non-alchoholic drinks were coke, ginger ale, orange juice and oolong tea @420 yen each. After ordering the female server came to bring us little containers of fried enoki mushrooms which was nice and said "there is table charge" so never specified how much or what it was exactly and she quickly hurried away(assuming it was the end of her shift because we didn't see her afterwards). Got the drinks, my OJ tasted watered down, got the skewers (not bad but not as good and juicy as some of the other izakaya's I've been to on my trip). Bill came and saw the service charge for 15000 yen.?!?!?! Thought there must have been some kind of mistake and went up to ask the same man that took our order. He was very hostile and annoyed when I asked about the charge and it took me by surprise as I've never been spoken so rudely throughout my whole trip here. Disappointed to say the LEAST. Wouldn't recommend to tourists Ps they offer a discount if you write a review on trip advisor which is probably why the have so many "good" reviews. Worst experience while out in japan.

“Yakitori”
The food is very delicious. The seafood prepared is fresh and they have a cute griller to heat your food when it gets a bit cold. The servers are attentive. Highly recommended!!

“Great Local place in shibuya”
We had the seven course dinner menu, and we were really, really, happy about it! I would recommend this restuarant to anyone staying in tokyo!
