“Intrigued by the video of 170kg tuna”
We went for this restaurant and worrying to see a long queue. It wasn't and relatively quiet on that day. Ordered the tuna as expected and were happily to eat it all. I would like it was fresh and delicious. However, I will not be good enough to bash through shibuya busy streets for it in opinion.

“authentic local setting and really fresh Tuna”
a place made famous by a YouTube video where it shows the chef cutting up the tuna fresh. apparently there are other similar places like this in Japan. nevertheless, not taking any credit away from the restaurant, the Oden and Tuna Sashimi is really delicious. I guess we are lucky, because it wasn't... really busy that night, so we get to enjoy the atmosphere in a locally decorated setting. the charm of wooden furniture ame Japanese style bar counter enhances the dining experience

“Wonderful fresh sashimi”
As you can tell from the name of the restaurant you are guaranteed to get fresh sashimi from one of the best places in Japan for fresh tasty fishes. It was quite good for reasonable prices. Though it is in the heart of Shibuya where you find a lot of younger people, Shibuya is quite accommodating br...oader range of visitors. If you like to try fresh sashimi for a reasonable price casually, this should be the place to visit.

“Excellent Fish Izakaya”
This was my sixth visit to this place. The first for dinner. What's the story with Kamigoto? Fresh fish and seafood from Kyushu. And do they do this well... Spectacularly. The restaurant is on 2/F of a small building behind Outback Steakhouse in deepest Shibuya. Well worth the small trek. On t...he price/performance scale this establishment scores highly. Three or four "aisatsu" communal tables (12 X), one shorter (8 X), and a couple of 4 X seat private rooms if you need one. Fabulous selection of sake. Their o-toro don lunchtime special is simply the best in town. I told them how much I liked it and they hustled off, for a moment, and came back with my favourite o-toro don and said it was “service” [ = free, in Japanese]. wOw! If you are looking for some top-notch sashimi and other fish and seafood on the side at a reasonable price, there is no-where else I can recommend in this town.
