“Chain izakaya in good location”
I just checked the spelling of this place to recommend to someone. I lived in Tokyo for 4 years and used to go here quite often, best for groups (4+), beer is good, prices are normal for chain izakaya. Has nama kiwi sour which has fresh kiwi in - worth a try. The food is not gourmet, this is an izak...aya, the focus is on drinking, the food is there to soak it up a bit. Can order on the electronic screen easily.

“Not up to standard”
Hoping it was another great Yakitori place, we went in and ordered quite a fair bit of food but the skewers weren't good at all. Chicken skin was under-cooked, most of the yakitori was pale with a little bit of black oil on it - didn't look appetizing at all. The minced chicken skewers were weird, f...elt like they mixed it with too much starch. The gyoza was with little meat in it. There wasn't anything I would recommend.

“Good choice....”
Shirokiya is Japanese foods restaurant. Sashimi (Raw fish) is very nice. Variety of local fishes and seafoods. Nabe hot pot is also good. This restaurant located near Shinjuki, shopping area. So we take quick dinner before move to shopping and night life.

“overpriced!”
We has been to Shirokiya in Osaka branch before, so we visited this branch again when we travelled in Tokyo in March. the experiences with the branch are quite negative as: 1/ no service 2/ dishes portion are small compare with the photos on menu 3/ food not fresh 4/ unclear price list for drink an...d food.
