“Izakaya in Shinjuku at Authentic style”
This Izakaya is old established, and its atmosphere was very authentic. For young generation, it might look shabby. It was famous for much variety of Sake. Food quality was very good, but it's pricey.

“A bit of language difficulty!”
Had a problem in this busy local restaurant in that I didn't speak Japanese, they didn't speak English and there were no photos on the menu! Five stars, though, for Googling and downloading the menu so I could point to things. Didn't quite work out however; although very tasty it wasn't quite was ...I was wanting as a green leafy dish arrived followed by an omeletty thing and then some grilled octopus turned up
