I got bad a feeling when we came in and a staff did not say to us welcome and please wait. The man called for another staff instead. They did not have a menu in english and when we asked for help as we cannot read in japanese the first staff said: google translate and did not help us at all. It didn...’t seem like they were interested in having us there. The service was bad ”warui”, so we decided to not stay and left the restaurant. I really did not want to spend my money there. We chose another place instead. We got disappointed as the staff in restaurants in Japan are usually polite, but not in this one.

I like this place for its lively atmosphere and typical downmarket pictoresque (for gaijin) Japanese dive. I do not like izakaya food, and this is no exception. But there are a few decent dishes to have while you are drinking

What was I thinking? Would usually read reviews first but it was pouring rain outside and just wanted to have a place to sit and have a snack and a beer. The lunch menu was very limited and when I saw the server preparing our first dish with unwashed hands I knew I would not be eating here. The d...ish that they brought was the worst looking thing I have seen during my trip and would not have eaten it even if he had washed his hands! Eat at Coco in the food court instead.

Visited this Japanese bar on a week day evening. At before 7pm the place was almost full. The deco is traditional izakaya and smoking is allowed. With beers, sake, raw fish, fried root and pizza, we spent a pleasant and relaxing night. The bill come up with average 3000 yen per person. Th...is bar opens until 3am hence serving all night owls effectively.

I enjoy this place every time I am in Tokyo. Good atmosphere, you can see the staff working hard in the kitchen. The service is quick and helpful. Young crowd. Open well after midnight
