“Cozy dining areas”
Supposedly a pub but nothing like those in the U.S. or U.K. A restaurant with closed off seating areas for diners. Legs in a well under the table for comfort of the Westerners! The door behind us kept sliding open as they brought in a large variety of dishes. Delicious experience

“Couldn't wait to try it again”
Kichiiri was high on my must do list when I returned to Tokyo and it didn't disappoint. Stunning decor, excellent service and great modern Japanese and European food.

Kichiri has good sushi at reasonable prices. Their location is excellent right next to the Shinjuku Station. The sushi we had were well prepared and fresh

“Amazing food and atmosphere”
Stunning decor and architecture and modern Japanese food made for a memorable experience. I couldn't fault any aspect of this restaurant although finding it was challenging.

We had such a great time here 10 months ago, we wanted to come again when we were back in Tokyo. Unfortunately, due to a lack of website or online booking facility, and my hotel's refusal to make a booking for me until I arrived, I was left with a 9.30pm reservation for Saturday night. Having only a...rrived in Japan a day earlier, this time was not jet lag compatible for me, so we turned up at 6.3o to try to squeeze in. But they really were full, and couldn't seat us until 8.15, which was still too late for my sleepy head. It was very hard to communicate properly with the young team, as their command of English is very poor (but better than my Japanese). They have 2 other branches in Shinjuku, and they found me a table at 7pm in one of them. But no-one could explain to us how to get there, so one of the lovely ladies volunteered to walk us there (round a few blocks, about 5 mins away). I thought this was wonderful service, which needed to be praised on TripAdvisor.
