“Not worth the time”
This restaurant is meant for those with very little experience in the basque country. It is essentially 80% Japanese and 20% others. I would not even call it Spanish. Service is mediocre, attentive maybe, but without enthusiasm. Bread plates placed on the wrong side of guests. Bread served at th...e wrong time - the restaurant must think this is "innovative". Food portions are on the small side and even my Japanese friends say that it is insufficient. However, prices are low so we did not complain.

“Nice but not 2 stars”
Nice restaurant, well presented food, but unfortunately it felt far from being 2 Michelin star quality (service and food). Upon making the reservation, we requested one guest have a vegetarian main. Simple request for a 2 Michelin star restaurant?! Answer was “no”. Eat the beef or pigeon, or cance...l your reservation! Food was nicely presented, and staff were polite, but the overall service felt clumsy and disorganised… and having dined in many Michelin star restaurants around the world, this just didn’t line up to be smooth and top quality. The restaurant is quaint and the small setting is nice. Unfortunately I can’t recommend as a 2 Michelin star restaurant.

“This place rocks- a hidden (maybe)? gem in the metropolis of Tokyo dining!”
I have to say "Wow"! and I'm sure glad I found this place after 4 years. We always try to find something new, there's so so much to explore in tokyo. Great little place- very aesthetic and service is top notch. Had 2 choices of seto- tasting menus, one with ravioli, one without. We chose one with...out. Like 7 courses of simply amazing deliciousness and art. Solid wine selection, french and spanish. Decent prices of drinks--very competitive. But it was the food and presentation that steals the show. Fish like never before. Beautiful plating and presentation is perfecto. It was quite an experience over 3 hours!!!! The highlights were numerous but what comes to mind- the octopus has to be the best i've ever ever had, so tender--I do not know how they did it. and the foiegras mousse--OMG. This place is not inexpensive, but reality is it is far from most expensive, but worth it--i would call it relative value and a high end treat! thank you.

“Spanish Food with a Japanese touch! Amazing!”
Zurriola is a 2 Michelin star restaurant in Tokyo. It is located in Ginza, the most expensive neighborhood in Tokyo. It was the first time to go to a Spanish restaurant that have counter seats, similar to Japanese restaurants in Japan. This is very nice as you can see the chef preparing the dishes ...and it is definitely part of the whole experience, recommend to reserve counter seat! Loved all the dishes and the desserts were amazing! It was my birthday, so they were so lovely to prepare a "Feliz Cumpleanos" dessert plate
