“Disappointed”
I researched the alternative restaurants in the Kyoto Station area, and decided to try this one despite mixed reviews. It was close to my hotel and I wanted a good beer. I was turned away curtly… nowhere in my research did anyone say this place is by reservation only

“Happy to recommend”
Very good value, staff lovely. Service super quick. Drinks slightly more expensive v other mid price restaurants but still cheap compared to Europe. Fish and chips very cheap for a dinner. Portion size was small but matched photo. As we had a late big lunch this worked well for us. Overall great val...ue.

“Tourist trap”
Rudest experience in Japan. High prices, no quality. Restaurant has no standard, staff has no manners. Tourist trap. Eating there was like in a hostel.

“Terrible…the service was minimal.”
Our second visit…but our last. The meal was enjoyable…but the customer service was non existent. There are plenty of other great restaurants in Kyoto we suggest you try.
