“Avoid this location visit Gion loc instead”
If you want to be the only people in the bar (me and my bro) and want to pick up your own drinks from the bar when they have 2 staff (local girl)members who are not doing anything but looking at you.( We were tired from walking) and after that be talked over continuously while trying to order food f...rom the gentleman (Temu Tom Cruise)when you say oh sir excuse me and he continues to talk over you then this is your place. We stumbled in here by accident when looking for The Man in the Moon Gion District where we’ve been twice because of Taka’s amazing service (working by himself) and pleasant attitude. It’s only minutes away i’m heading there now as soon as I finish this drink and this review, I write while sitting in their bar. I know once I go to Gion District and visit our dear friend Taka. He will make our day much better after having been treated so rude in this place like I get you don’t get tips, but it would’ve been nice for you to come around your counter and at least serve us our drinks which were only two.

“Great pub in Kyoto”
Friendly staff, decent pub food, sports on the TVs. Felt like a little bit of home on the otger side of the world.

“False advertising to call this an Irish pub”
Worst "Irish" pub I have visited overseas. Fish and chips awful and people at next table, from Yorkshire, complained of dark burned chicken. Guinness brought o table within 2 minutes of ordering (good service but Guinness takes 4 minutes to pour correctly). Only one of staff soke understandable E...nglish.

“A bit of Ireland in Kyoto”
We were looking for a little respite and the Man in the Moon pub provided a Great atmosphere and great food. Fabulous Fish and Chips and Cottage Pie.
