37 Steak house&Bar

We visited 37 Steakhouse & Bar during a quiet period and ordered the spinach salad, grilled pork loin, grilled chicken, broccoli, and Peroni beers. While the service was adequate, it lacked warmth or attentiveness. Unfortunately, the meat dishes were underseasoned and lacked depth of flavor, which w...as disappointing given the restaurant’s reputation. Overall, the experience was average and did not meet expectations.

We went there to have lunch on 26th Dec. We were attended to by a waiter (Thomas). He was chewing gum at the time and asked what we wanted. I told him I would like to have a Rib Eye Steak. He spoke to me in an arrogant manner and said that there were many types of rib eye steak. I then told him ...I wanted an Australian one. At no time did he ask us what sauce I wanted (although there were 5 types of sauces which customers may choose from the menu). When we found out that we did not mention our choice of the sauce for the steak, another waiter said that when we did not specify the sauce at the time of order, they would offer us the "signature sauce". However, there was no mention of any "signature sauce" on the menu, nor did the menu state what the "signature sauce" was (for people who may be allergic to some herbs, this can be dangerous). We found that unacceptable. Also, we ordered a sea bass, which was very small in portion and tasted badly. The meal costs us around HK$3,000 which I considered to be a rip off.

I started to eat here at lunch time because Hard Rock changed sheff and staffs. So I want to skip Hard Rock at the moment. Instead, 37 has nice view of Tokyo Tower. And good service that I want. Price is very fine at lunch time. They changed opening at 12 noon.

I arrived at the hotel at 9.15. The restaurants last service is 9.30. I walked in at 9.25. They made me feel feel very welcome even though I am sure they were about to finish for the night. I had a very nice steak and fries and a very good Australian Shiraz. The staff were very helpful and welcom...ing.

On friends advice went there for a relaxing evening . The place is casual chic and gave us good impression. We were showed a table but once seated, they just forgot about us!!! No menu no water no bread. The managers wearing black jackets just did not care. On our request they just sent without ap...ologies a young waiter. Spent over 40000 yen in two but ,believe in me, it tastes ordinary and sides dishes were not dressed ( tomatoes and broccoli) on a table without any salt or oil. NEVER AGAIN W THE TEPPANYAKI!!!
