STOVES

Just needed to get away from Japanese food. This place was pretty decent. Full bar, lots of bar favorites. My buffalo wings were good, my salad was alright. While none of the food was outstanding, it hit the spot. It is located across ther river, there are patio seating, but who wants to sit ou...tside in this kind of summer heat. Service was good. The prices were as expected. Not unreasonable. This is a bar. A comfortable place.

The bar is very cluttered and not that clean most staff look untidy beer overpriced and food very average especially the so called french fries that look like they are soaked in oil not fried in it, very disappointing, should have had Wendy's instead

Stoves was a surprising find, nestled in a corner across a Yokohama backroad near the canal and rail lines. It’s got a 70s decor with more recent surfer vibe, reasonably priced bar foods and drinks - and it’s specialty appears to be burgers. The sidebar foods were good - sweet pickles were delicious... - and service was friendly and prompt. About 4 minutes walk from Yokohama station west exit.

This was always one of our must go to bars, it is still okay just other places have overtaken it. Can get smoky in the winter when the screens are down, would get snack food in here although lots of people eat in it a lot. I have found the service can be poor especially if not many western people in..., the Japanese seem to get served much quicker. We go in for nostalgic reasons rather than it is a great place
