Yakiniku Kankokuryori KollaBo Ikebukuroten

The food here is overpriced and the service was horrendous. I ordered a dish, and when it didnt come after 20 mins, I inquired about my order's status. I was told the they would check on the order's status. However, after waiting for a further 15 mins, it still didn't arrive. I inquired about it...s status again and apparently it wasn't even listed as one of my orders. They only realized this after the second time i inquired about its status. Overall, it was a bad dining experience. Here are so many other better restaurants in tokyo/ikebukuro and everyone will be better off heading to those better places.

I was really looking forward to eating at this restaurant. I even waited almost an hour for a seat. The menu looks amazing. First after waiting an hour for a table, we were seated at table made for multiple groups with about 6 inches of leg room. This caused me to have to sit fairly far from the tab...le. Secondly, I feel that the meat for yakiniku was a little expensive for the quality and quantity of the meat at around 1,000 yen per plate for approximately 6 small pieces. The meat was good, but not of the quality for the price. Third, I'm not sure how but my rice had both undercooked hard rice and extremely overcooked soft rice you would serve mashed to an infant for about half of the bowl. I really hate to waist rice but I was so turned off by this I didn't even finish eating the rice. Overall we ordered 4 plates of meat 2 bowls of rice and 2 beers between my wife and I. This cost around 7,000 yen. After our initial order, I told my wife that we would not be ordering anything else and we would just go somewhere else after we paid. Overall I was extremely disappointed in this restaurant. This restaurant is there for the money and that would be ok if the quality was there as well.
