“Good Food, Bad Customer Service”
Good food overshadowed by a horrible experience. Customer service was appalling. We ordered Jyushi Rice for our 15 month old child and started to feed her some when we found a thin, COMPLETELY black strand of hair BURIED inside the bowl of rice. Not on top, not somewhat mixed around, BURIED beneath ...and throughout the small bowl of rice. We brought it to the staff's attention and they were visibly surprised. Not sure why, because no one in that kitchen was wearing a hair net, just a bandana that doesn't do much to keep falling hair off of food. This would've been an issue quickly resolved and honestly we would not have minded since we didn't feed our daughter much of the tainted rice. The issue came about when the same waitress came back with a new bowl of rice and then told me it was probably MY hair that fell in the rice because no one in their staff has long hair....while the same lady saying this had hair past shoulder length. My hair is over two feet long, copper blonde on the last 5 inches, falls past my butt, and was currently BRAIDED. Immediately lost my appetite. I was told that they're very prideful but maybe they should be prideful about the quality of the food they put out instead. Also, invest in some effective hairnets! By far, the only bad experience I have ever had while visiting Okinawa.

“"Michelik" 3 stars in Okinawa”
i tend to have my own Michelik rating when I am visiting food places, and this is one of the 3 stars (highest honor) places that i would recommend. the pork just melt in your mouth, price is reasonable and worth it. there is a huge signboard in front of the shop showing you where to park, rather tha...n park illegally on the roadside.

“To try out Okinawa udon favor”
Read tos reviews, came to miyaki coast so walked in to hv a bowl of udon. The price is ok for an udon with roast pork, the soup tasted ok but too small a bowl. D udon texture is up for individual taste, I would prefer ramen texture over this..

“Good but overrated”
Although the soba here is good, the ratings are overrated. Good value for money though. Meal for 2, small soba bowls with pork and additional pork knuckles are only slightly above 1000 yen. Restaurant is very basic, nothing glamourous

great place to go for traditional okinawian soba, very consistent but may be a bit on bland side for the american pallet. parking could be better there, not a fan of parking illegally on the street
