Yoshizaki Shokudo Kumojihonten

Terrible experience. We ordered two appetizers and two main dishes: • “Specialty! Agu pork raayu nabe (lean thigh meat)” • “Specially selected! Agu pork raayu nabe (specially selected ribs)”. Only the first main dish arrived. When we pointed out that the specially selected ribs were probably for...gotten, after initial apologies, the staff tried to charge us for it, claiming that the ribs meat had been included in the Agu pork raayu nabe. We insisted that the dish we received contained only one type of meat (the lean thigh). Only after our persistence did they remove the cost of the dish we never received from the bill. We do not recommend this place for those looking for attentive and transparent service.

This is a good value Izakaya in Naha city, which serves great tasting food. The waitress does not really speak any English, but they do have a English menu, although she did confuse one or two of our orders. Service was surprisingly fast eventhough they had to take on so many orders and the sheer nu...mber of customers they have. The skewers were good and the Okinawa food such as the Chanpuru (egg with bittergourd and beansprout) and fried rice was delicious. It was full during the entire time i was having my dinner here. Was a little displeased when they don’t want to sell their sukiyaki for dinner, although we saw the table beside us having it. But overall, definitely a recommended place to dine and drink at.

Came here 3 nights in a row......why? Good food, good beer. And unbelievable staff. Watching the chefs cooking your food and also giving you little samples while you wait for your order was fantastic. If you are ever in Naha put this on your list as I promise you will be back for more, and more and ...more. Only a 2 minute walking distance from monorail. Actually just follow the fantastic smell.

In Okinawa, there is few people who can speak English, so understand there menu is really a challenge because no one could explain it to you. But fortunately, I found this restaurant, English menu is available upon request, they also have Chinese menu, it's really a great place for foreigners.

This small restaurant is located in Naha, Omoromachi zone, next door to Libre Garden Hotel building. Hard to understand the menù but with the help of the staff and the cooks themselves everything can be explained: the food is typical and extremely tasty and the environment is full of energy. Everyth...ing is in wood, cooks prepare food in front of you and waiters are fast and very kind. Good prices.
