“Never go here if you don't speak Japanese”
Never go here, especially if you are a tourist. On the final day of our cruise, we went to Royal Garden Cafe after playing in the nearby playground with our children. I was with my mom, my sister, my wife, and 2 children. We wanted to order food but we were requesting water first as we were all parc...hed from the heat and from playing outdoors. They must have thought we just wanted water and basically threw us out of the restaurant WITHOUT ANY ATTEMPT TO EXPLAIN WHY. NO ENGLISH SPEAKING STAFF, at all on a high-traffic tourist spot --> THUMBS DOWN. Very RUDE server and UNAPOLOGETIC manager --> TWO THUMBS DOWN. We traveled through different coastal cities in Japan and only in this cafe did we experience such POOR AND DISRESPECTFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE. The staff in this restaurant is a shame to the beautiful people and country of Japan.

“Great place for a relaxing meal”
Very nicely decorated and situated on the pond. Great place to have lunch. Good food priced modestly. Probably not worth visiting unless already in park due to parking situation. Decent drink selection.

“Nice view of lake ”
This is a coffee shop inside Ohori Park. You can enjoy a nice view of a lake, while taking a cup of coffee. There are also alcoholic beverages, and some snacks are available. The price is a little bit higher than other coffee shops.

“Cafe with simple desserts overlooking the lake”
It's easy to spot this cafe, rather than Starbucks, because this is just after the subway exit at the entrance of the park. This cafe has got 2 level seating and the outdoor seats offer a good view of the lake. The desserts are simple, coffee is nothing much to rave about. But a good place to chil...l and enjoy the view with some desserts.

“Excellent meal in beautiful location”
This cafe had really good food and service. The pate campagne wAs delicious and served with excellent bread. Arrived five minutes before the end of lunch (3pm) and they served us graciously and well. Sat outside overlooking the lake and bridge with a gorgeous view of the island with the mountain ...in the background. Just lovely.
