Ichiro Hakatabasutaminaruten

It was 8+ on a weekday night and we chanced upon it looking for late-dinner at Hakata sta area. Nestled amongst other eateries at L8 of the AMU Plaza building what catches our attention was its open-concept and large coloured menu display. There are high seats round the serving counter. It was not ...fully seated.at 7:30pm and we took a 4-seaters for some privacy. We ordered a chicken Ramen (690 yen) and a pork cutlet set (700 yen). Looking back we should have tried their gyoza (the shop speciality). Food arrived a little beyond 15 mins, portion just sufficient but definitely warming to us amid the cold weather outside. However I would say they taste average, comparable to most ramen. The crew and chefs are a merry making bunch as they served out dinners and drinks, with some gusto. Quite like the atmosphere. Overall a nice experience
