“Lovely little Japanese restaurant”
Authentic Japanese food, restaurant has 3 tables of 4 pax and about 10 counter seats. Full of locals. No English menu but super friendly staff and superb food. All for a reasonable price. For tourists like myself, it may be easier to take a set course - mine came with appetiser, sashimi, tempura, gr...illed fish, chawanmushi, beef and pork hot pot ( after which the remaining stock was made into a very tasty porridge) with 2.5 hours of free flow alcoholic drinks, all for around USD $50 Must try the uni wrapped in Kagoshima beef. You can order it a la carte. Also worth it is the 2.5 hour all you can drink option.

“Excellent dining experience, the title may be too generic.”
To come up with wonderful dining experience good m drink and food is necessary. In addition, the decor and how is the chef's engagement is also important. This restaurant provided all the above, chef's engagement was just right, not be overwhelmed. As a tourist, the chef, Shiki San, gave us enoug...h information for next day's travel plan, although we are not picky, most of us used to dine at high end restaurant and this experience we got there was beyond what we used to received. Dinner price for four was only below ¥15000. Very good value!
