“Delicious Black pork deep fried in unique black charcoal crusts”
We reserved a table for two at 18:15 before we went on the Kyushu trip. After our visit to Sarakurajima in the morning and Kirishima Jingu Shrine in the afternoon, we took the tram to Tenmonkan stop. It was a short walk to this restaurant. We ordered the Fillet Cutlet set meal (2100 Yen) and the ...Kurobuta pork sirloin cutlet set meal(1950 Yen. The black pork was deep-fried in bamboo charcoal, black sesame and kakao. Both types were delicious. We could asked for our cabbages to be refilled. Service is efficient with the English Menu and we did not wait long for our food. After dinner we took a stroll along the covered shopping walkway in Tenmonkan before taking our free shuttle from a nearby bus stop back to Shiroyama Hotel. Strongly recommend a meal here when visiting Kagoshima.

“Best black pork in Kagoshima”
Excellent place for black pork. Try it. It's great. Menu in English via qr code. Nice room in back with tables for 6 people. Excellent pork cutlets and pork curry black style. No meal cost more than 14 USD. Everybody loved it. Try black pork

“Nice little restaurant for local cuisine”
We arrived bang on the 5:30 evening opening time without a reservation and managed to get 2 seats - it’s a small restaurant. I had the pork katsu and my partner had pork shabu shabu. Both dishes were excellent and representative of Kagoshima cuisine. Service was quick. Recommended.

“Book a reservation so you don't have to wait”
Booked a reservation online which was great because the place is quite small and allows you to avoid waiting. This is a quick dinner because the food arrives quickly and you are basically going to gobble it down immediately. DH and I each ordered one set dinner of pork - one regular and one with the... black ash coating and then shared them. I thought the black ash one had a bit more flavor and was more interesting. Definitely try out all of the sauces on the counter for your cabbage salad and to dip the pork. Would definitely recommend for somone visting the town in the future.

“Pork Heaven”
Had Shabu and Tonkatsu at lunchtime. Never ate such great pork dishes before. At lunch also incredible value for money. Service is nice. Would come regularly if I could.
